HMPS HKI UMM (Islamic Family Law Student Association, University of Muhammadiyah Malang) is a student organization focused on the academic, social, and spiritual development of students in the Islamic Family Law Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This organization aims to serve as a platform for students to explore their potential, deepen their knowledge, and contribute positively to society and the Muslim community. As an organization under the Faculty of Islamic Studies at UMM, HMPS HKI plays an essential role in supporting the program's vision and mission, particularly in intellectual and spiritual development related to Islamic family law.
HMPS HKI organizes various activities to support students' soft skill development, including seminars, training sessions, scientific discussions, and social activities that align with Islamic legal values. The organization actively conducts events that engage students directly, both within and outside the campus. One of its main goals is to create an academic atmosphere conducive to understanding the evolving issues of Islamic family law in society.
As a bridge between students and lecturers, HMPS HKI also fosters good communication with external parties to create opportunities for career and leadership development. Additionally, spiritual aspects are emphasized through religious activities that strengthen students' character and morals. Through its programs, HMPS HKI UMM is committed to shaping a generation that excels academically, possesses integrity, and demonstrates strong character in addressing life challenges while offering legal solutions based on Islamic principles.
HMPS HKI UMM envisions becoming the main pillar of solidarity among students, providing a platform for students to learn organizational skills, building strong and supportive networks, and creating an inclusive, harmonious study program environment that meets students' expectations and needs. This vision is actualized through six missions distributed across four divisions, each supported by the best functionaries to ensure impactful activities in service, dedication, and development.
Intellectual Development Division
Responsible for research and intellectual development for both HMPS members and Islamic Family Law students. This division conducts research on contemporary legal issues, including conventional and Islamic family law, and organizes seminars, open discussions, and other intellectual activities.
Internal Relations Division
Manages the internal organization by focusing on enhancing motivation, organizational skills, synergy, and a sense of family within HMPS HKI. Activities include upgrading sessions, gatherings, bonding chemistry events, and joint healing. This division is also responsible for designing and implementing organizational regeneration.
External Relations Division
Oversees external activities, such as community service, festivals, and collaboration forums with other intra-organizational bodies. It also provides a platform for Islamic Family Law students to participate in external events like competitions, seminars, and similar activities.
Media, Communication, and Information Division
Handles design needs and serves as the publication platform for all HMPS activities during its term. This division is also a creative outlet for HMPS members and Islamic Family Law students to develop their potential. Additionally, it acts as a media partner for events outside HMPS HKI.
